Understanding the WCBCS/Kairos Partnership

What does the WCBCS and Kairos University contextualized partnership mean for Kenneth Copeland Bible College graduates and referrals?
Through this contextualized partnership, you can use your courses from KCBC and other coursework to transfer up to 90 credit hours toward earning a degree that is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)) and nationally accredited through the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). Both accreditations are recognized by the US Department of Education and are highly respected worldwide!

Can I use this degree to enroll in an accredited graduate school?
The short answer is yes. While all schools have their own criteria for admissions, the fact that your degree will have the accreditations from the HLC and ATS will mean that the vast majority of regionally-accredited colleges will accept your degree to allow you to enroll in graduate school. While no institution can make guarantees regarding acceptance by other institutions, this degree will open up many options for you!

What is the cost of tuition?
The tuition costs $300 monthly, plus a $10 processing fee. Think about this: If you complete two courses per month, your tuition expense would be $3,000. Combining this with the amount you spent at KCBC, you will have earned one of the lowest-cost regionally and nationally accredited degrees worldwide!

Is there an application fee?
As a KCBC graduate, we will waive the $75 application fee.

Why is this so inexpensive?
Kairos University has a mission similar to WCBCS’s to create disciples of Christ without creating disciples of debt, and we both accomplish our missions through online educational delivery. This collaborative partnership is focused on building the Kingdom of God, first and foremost!

Are there any other fees?
The only other fee is the $100 Annual Fee due May 1 of every year. The graduation diploma is covered in your tuition cost.

Why should you complete another Bachelor's degree if you have an unaccredited one?
There are two main reasons you should complete this program: 1) Your degree will be more widely recognized because of the premier US accreditations, and 2) This degree will open many additional doors for transferring to other regionally-accredited colleges and universities globally, as well as meeting the educational requirements of most churches and denominations globally.

How many hours will you be required to complete a Bachelor's degree?
If you have an Associate’s degree, likely, you will only need to complete 20 courses for a total of 60 credit hours. Since WCBCS allows students to complete up to two courses per month, completing this program in as few as 10 months is possible.

Where will you complete your studies?
You will complete all your studies/learning resources and courses through West Coast Bible College & Seminary. You will continue to receive a practical ministry education that will equip you to serve in the local church or in any ministry setting. WCBCS has a Learning Management System that will provide a world-class educational experience.

What degree will you earn?
You will earn a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Thought and Practice upon completing your studies.

What name(s) will be on my diploma?
Your diploma will be issued through Kairos University.

Can I start at any time?
Start dates are on the first day of each month with this program. To begin on the first of the month, you should submit all your paperwork by the 15th of the month preceding. (While it is possible you may start if you submit the documentation later, it is not guaranteed.)

What name will be on my transcript, and are there any important details you should know?
Kairos University will issue your transcript, and their name will be on it. IMPORTANT: All grades in the Kairos University system will be noted on a Pass/Fail basis. As a result, you will not have a letter grade on your transcript. If you need a specific GPA notation, you must contact WCBCS, and we will provide that to Kairos University.
