Understanding The WCBCS/Kairos Partnership

What does the WCBCS and Kairos University contextualized partnership mean for Andersonville graduates?
Through this contextualized partnership, you can use your degree from Andersonville Seminary to transfer up to 90 credit hours toward earning a bachelor degree that is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)) and nationally accredited through the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). Both accreditations are recognized by the US Department of Education and are highly respected worldwide!

Can I use this degree to enroll in an accredited graduate school?
The short answer is yes. While all schools have their criteria for admissions, the fact that your degree will have the accreditations from the HLC and ATS will mean that the vast majority of colleges and universities will accept your degree, allowing you to enroll in graduate school. It will open up a lot of options for you!

What is the cost of tuition?
The tuition costs $300 monthly, plus a $10 processing fee. Consider this: If you complete one course monthly, your tuition would be $3,000. Combining this with the amount you spent at Andersonville will be the lowest cost regionally and nationally accredited degree worldwide!

Can I use my life experience toward college credits?
Yes, students may earn up to 30 Life Learning Credit (LLC) credit hours. The application fee for LLC’s is being waived, and students may access the application by CLICKING HERE.

Is there an application fee?
As an Andersonville graduate, we will waive the $75 application fee.

Why is this so inexpensive?
Kairos University has a mission similar to WCBCS’s to create disciples of Christ without creating disciples of debt, and we both accomplish our missions through online educational delivery. This collaborative partnership is focused on building the Kingdom of God, first and foremost!

Are there any other fees?
There is a $100 annual fee due no later than May 1.

Why should you complete another Bachelor's degree if you have an unaccredited one?
There are two main reasons you should complete this program: 1) Your degree will be more widely recognized because of the premier US accreditations, and 2) This degree will open many additional doors for transferring to other regionally accredited colleges and universities globally, as well as meeting the educational requirements of most churches and denominations globally.

How many hours will you be required to complete a Bachelor's degree?
If you have a Bachelor’s degree, you will likely only need to complete ten courses for 30 credit hours. Since WCBCS allows students to complete up to two courses per month, completing this program in as few as five months is possible. (This applies only to graduates or those with 90 credit hours accepted into the program).

Where will you complete your studies?
You will complete all your studies/learning resources and courses through West Coast Bible College & Seminary. You will continue to receive a practical ministry education that will equip you to serve in the local church or any ministry setting. WCBCS has a new Learning Management System that will provide a world-class educational experience.

What degree will you earn?
Upon completing your studies, you will earn a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Thought and Practice.

What issuing name will be on my diploma?
Your diploma will be issued through Kairos University.

Can I start at any time?
Start dates are on the first day of each month with this program. To begin on the first of the month, you should submit all your paperwork by the 20th of the month preceding. (While you may start if you submit the documentation later, it is not guaranteed.)

What name will be on my transcript, and are there any important details you should know?
Kairos University will issue your transcript, and their name will be on it. IMPORTANT: All grades in the Kairos University system will be noted on a Pass/Fail basis. As a result, you will not have a letter grade on your transcript. If you need a specific GPA, contact WCBCS; we will provide that to Kairos University.

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

STUDENT TESTIMONIAL #1 (RYAN N.): "I am so thankful for West Coast Bible College and their continuing effort to make quality education affordable. Through their partnership with Kairos University, I was able to earn an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Christian Thought & Education in under 4 years! My experience with WCBCS has opened doors that I never thought possible. Thanks to this accredited partnership, I was accepted into a graduate program at Harvard Business School and have seen God open numerous opportunities that weren't previously possible without a degree. I was never great at schoolwork, but I found WCBCS' new learning management system to be beautifully organized and easy to understand. Thanks to this new system, I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA for the first time in my life while balancing time with my family as we brought our first daughter into the world. My time with Dr. Harrison, Dr. Condly, and the rest of the WCBCS Staff has changed my life. God bless all of you!"

STUDENT TESTIMONIAL #2 (SAMANTHA R.): “The BA program helped me with having an accredited degree to be able to get my Arkansas Non-Traditional Teaching License. I have been able to further myself and get my foot in the door at places I couldn't have without this degree. The process was easy. Both Kairos and West Coast were very responsive and even helped when my time frame became stretched thin. I enjoyed this program and would recommend it to others that have gone through West Coast.”

Our contextualized partnership with Kairos University is revolutionary for WCBCS students and graduates! You can now earn a regionally and nationally-accredited degree, while getting your learning experiences from WCBCS for only $300 per month. Everyone wins!
